World Health Qigong Day

World Health QiGong Day 2018 announcement. This year the world health WQDAY2018qigong day will be held on the 8th September! The BHQA are busy planning events and details will be posted soon.

Coordinated by the International Health Qigong Federation (IHQF), thousands of enthusiastic Health Qigong (HQ) practitioners descended upon venues in 43 countries across five continents to practice non-stop together for 24 hours. Starting in New Zealand and ending in Canada, the event proved an enormous worldwide success. 

The 1st World Health Qigong Day celebrated on Sunday 13 August 2017.  The theme was ‘Let me teach you Health Qigong’. The International Health Qigong Federation (IHQF) coordinated the practise of Health Qigong at 10am local time in over 40 countries and regions in 5 continents across the world. Globally, Health Qigong practiced non-stop for 24 hours from east to west.

HQ is an integral part of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Fluid physical movements, mental cultivation and regulated breathing guides and promotes the free flow of energy (Qi) throughout the body, which helps to balance Yin and Yang, improve general health and a greater sense of well-being.

The benefits and practice of HQ have been growing in popularity worldwide. The first World Health Qigong Day proved an enormous success and will be held on the second Sunday of August each year. Many people became aware of what HQ is and its many health benefits.

Qigong is now regarded within the Chinese health and medical science fields as “a shining pearl in Traditional Chinese Medicine”. It has helped millions of people with severe and lingering health problems to improve their health. Over 40 countries have adopted Dao Yin Qigong with over 4 million people currently practising this art.

HQ classes are held from 9.30am to 10.30am every Tuesday in Kellyville. Everybody is welcome.
