My husband shaved his hair 5 years ago and my friend did the same last year. Now it is my turn.
I'm taking part in the Leukaemia Foundation’s World's Greatest Shave this year 2017. I’m aiming to raise as much as I can for the Leukaemia Foundation.
You may not know it but blood cancer is the third most common cause of cancer death in Australia, claiming more lives than breast cancer or melanoma. And every day another 35 people will be diagnosed.
When you raise money for the World’s Greatest Shave, you give give Aussie families facing a blood cancer diagnosis the emotional and practical support they need. You will also help fund vital research so more people survive blood cancers like lymphoma, leukaemia and myeloma.
Their vital work provides patients with practical support during their long and tough treatment, as well as funding important research.
I’m helping to beat blood cancer by taking part in the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave! Please sponsor me to give Aussie families facing blood cancer the emotional and practical support they need.
I am so happy to be able to help, shaving my hair for fundraising on Fun Day, 1st April 2017 in Restore Church, 47 Britannia Rd, Castle Hill NSW 2154 from 8 am. After welcome for a free Tai chi and QiGong in the hall.
If you like my new hair welcome as the sponsor time is closing end of June 2017. Thank you!
Today is 1 April 2017
Maybe you do not know with the end of the financial year this amount is a tax deduction.
The goal is only $777.00
More than 150,000 people from all walks of life will shave or colour their hair in 2015. Some will go it alone while others will get a team together. Schools across the country will get involved in ‘Funky Hair Day’ and there are special challenges for sectors like Mining and Energy.
Sponsoring me, will help ensure someone being treated in hospital gets a personal visit from a highly-trained health professional so they get the extra support they need.
No matter how much you give for this project, it’s an extraordinary way to make a difference.
Thank you for your participation!
